Two Old Goats
Colder weather is right around the corner, and I am ready. But if cold, wet weather brings aches from joint pain, cooler weather is no relief. There is a product called Two Old Goats, and though the name is weird, the relief it gives to sore and aching joints is no laughing matter. It also great for fibromyalgia, arthritis, and sore muscles from over-doing it at the health club. My mom used it on her knees for two years before she had surgery. It kept her active and doing the things she enjoyed. Two Old Goats has a fresh fragrance, not overwhelming or medicinal. And the nice part about it, you can use it as much as you want. Mom kept it in her purse, don’t laugh.
On a personal note, many of you know I went through cancer treatment back in 2008. Chemo was a nightmare, and the radiation that followed brought on an annoying nerve sensitivity that went down my arm on the affected side. I would apply Two Old Goats, and within minutes the sensitivity would subside. If you know of anyone going through radiation, you might want to suggest this product. It comes in three sizes, 2-, 4-, and 8-ounce. I hope this helps.

Question: I read your article in the Chronicle each week. I am struggling with stains on my shower doors. What do I use to clean off the hard water and make them look like they did when I installed them. Keep up the good work!
Answer: Nothing looks better than a clean glass shower door. But the minute you step in the shower the hard water starts to build up a haze. At least it does here in San Antonio. Our water is extremely hard. Since you have a tile floor and wall surround, this project will be quick and easy. Clean the doors with Delete Germ. Just remember to wear gloves, work quickly and rinse thoroughly. Delete Germ is the best product to remove lime scale that I have ever seen. Put it in your toilet bowl and watch the stains disappear. But on your shower door, once the glass is clean…. you need to apply Clean-X Invisible Shield Glass Protectant. Apply two coats and then buff dry. This will give you a protective barrier against hardwater and soap scum. Then weekly spray the door with Clean-X Invisible Shield Glass Cleaner. This product will reinforce the protection, and you will have clear showers for close to a year. It’s an amazing product!
Question: I read – and usually save your article in the Examiner … but I’ve misplaced a recent one
Can you please send me the name of the product you recommended to clean the toilet tank … we’re in about 45-year-old home … 4 toilets … most newer than the home … but
ALL of them sure look yucky … rusty looking stuff in the tank!
HOW to clean? (one almost looks like it has a small pile of ‘rusty looking stuff in the bottom (can’t vacuum it … but that’s what it looks like it needs!
Answer: The product is Instant Power Tank Cleaner. One container will clean two tanks. And it’s so easy to use, no vacuuming needed! HA! At the end of the day, lift the lid of the tank and pour in the Instant Power Tank Cleaner. Swish it around, and then leave it to work overnight. The next morning, lift the lid of the tank and you will be pleasantly surprised. You will have a nice, white tank! But this is a maintenance type project, you will need to repeat every couple of months.
Question: The lawn service man sprayed the fertilizer chemicals about two feet up on our rather new cedar fence leaving a dark stain. We tried power washing the fence without any success. Do you have a product that would help remove the stain that’s in the wood?
Answer: I answered this question in private on the email. I really didn’t have a good answer. I was worried about any product to clean off the fertilizer stain would remove the stain on fencing. But his yard man was smarter than this girl. He used Goof Off Rust Stain Remover. I have it on my shelf but didn’t even consider it. You learn something new every day!!
