30 Second Outdoor Cleaner
From the desk of Johnnie Chuoke

I love it when a customer takes the time to tell me when something works well for them. Sometimes it’s an older product that we just haven’t talked about in a while and I write a new article about it. A product that we have had for about 2 years is 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner .I want to share with you a “Thank You Note” I just received.

Dear Johnnie- I thought you may want to know that the “30 Second Cleaner” you wrote about recently is WONDERFUL for cleaning up the winter grime on patio furniture. I am the owner of many pieces of white wrought iron furniture. I have 2 tables, 8 chairs, a bench, a glider, and 4 side chairs. I love this furniture until it is time to clean it.It takes forever to do so and really nothing works except scrubbing- not even power washing. WOW does your cleaner work!I have brand new looking furniture with one afternoon’s work and I say work loosely because all I did was spray it on, sit a while and hose it off. I really never thought that it would work like that with no scrubbing. I just bought another gallon to gift to my son. Thank you, thank you so much for your articles.

So if you have some patio furniture that has winter grime…whether it be the plastic kind or the wrought iron – or your concrete benches…. 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner does the job.It comes in a quart or a gallon. The quart is RTU and the gallon is a concentrate and makes 2 gallons. Keep those emails coming and I will share them with all the readers!

Now to the email….

Question:I have a question about the best way to clean mold and mildew off my white vinyl siding. It is on the second story.I can do the patio furniture, but at my age cannot climb ladders. Can it be professionally power washed?

Answer:A product called Jomax is the best and least expensive product to clean outside siding with. I used all the time at the lake. Here is how you mix it up….1pt of Jomax to 3 pts of Clorox and add to a 2 or 3 gallon pump up sprayer and fill with water. With a good pump up sprayer, you can get to the second floor.

Question:I have my two story home for sale and when you walk upstairs the floor creaks and squeaks. I am guessing I will have to pull all the carpet up and find out what the problem it. We have lived there so long I don’t even hear it …but my realtor says everyone else will..HA.

Answer:There is a tool that comes with real long screws. It’s called Squeek No More. You attach the tool to your drill and use the screws to re-attach the plywood flooring to the joist. No need to take up the carpet, because the tool allows you to break off the screw down below the carpet so you don’t see it or feel it.

Question:During that last rain, I developed a leak or two. I know a lot of people use that black tar, but just think it doesn’t look very nice on my white roof. Is there anything else I can use that will last long, and stand up to the Texas heat?

Answer:Sure it’s called Through The Roof. It’s a clear product that you can either brush on for larger areas or put in a in a caulking tube for around fireplaces and vent pipes. You can even apply to a wet roof. It will even seal up a leaky bird bath.

Question: I have a back door that everyone uses. And that’s fine but it squeaks so badly.I have put WD 40 and all kinds of oils on the hinges and they work for maybe a week and then the door starts squeaking again. No one can sneak in that back door, but I just wish the squeak wasn’t so annoying. Any ideas?

Answer:Yes the answer is Tri Flow.It is not your regular lubricant, because it doesn’t attract dirt and dust. Just spray on the hinges and work the door a bit. The Tri Flow is like liquid ball bearings and works every time.
