It’s my job to always be on the
lookout for a better product. If there is a product line that out
shines one of my favorite lines, makes a job easier, and is priced
better then it’s my job to get it for you and tell you all about
it. Granite is almost in every house built. And taking care of it
can be confusing. One company that stands out and is a family owned
business is Granite Gold. Granite Gold brand granite cleaners and
other stone-care products are specially formulated and developed by
the Granite Gold family. This family business has 40 years in the
stone care business. And they have taken the questions out of
taking care of your granite and stone. It’s as simple as clean,
seal, and polish. Clean with Granite Gold Daily Cleaner. It deeply
cleans granite, marble, travertine and natural stone. It is food
safe, non toxic, bio degradable and has a citrus fresh smell. It’s
much better for your counter tops than your everyday cleaners that
could damage the granite and be costly to repair. Then after
cleaning, seal the surface with Granite Gold Sealer. It’s just as
simple as spray and wipe to keep the surface sealed. If you are
wondering if your granite needs sealing- do a simple test of putting
a couple of spoonfuls of water on the surface and let it sit for 30
minutes. If it leaves a dark spot, or ring then it’s time to seal
the counter tops. Frequent use of this sealer protects the surface
from etching, stains and soil build up. Then polish with Granite
Gold Polish. I have always been asked about restoring the shine of
granite and marble and Granite Gold Polish will do just that. And
it’s as easy as all the rest of the Granite Gold products, just
spray and wipe. I know that the product is Granite Gold but it can
be used on marble, travertine, quartz like Silestone and Cambria.
And the pricing on Granite Gold is very reasonable the cleaner starts
at 6.99 and the sealer at 26.99 for quart sizes.

Question: Johnnie you have helped me
before and so I am coming to you again. I have a fiberglass door and
it just looks dull. It’s a light colored door and the weather has
been hard on it. Is there something I can do to spruce it up and
make it look better?
Answer: I used Sun Shield on my door and it faces west and gets the heat of the sun. I did not want to
re-stain the door. Just put a little on a rag and just wipe it on.
It’s as simple as dusting and boy what a difference it will make in
the appearance of the door. As long as the varnish is still intact
you can use Sun Shield to extend the stained finish on the door. If
you decide you want to change that door and stain it dark, Zar will
make your job very easy. Just call me and I will walk you through
Question: Johnnie I remember something
that you said I could squirt into a chair to make the rungs tight
again- what was that product?
Answer: It’s called Chair Lok or
Wonder Lok Em- both are the same product. And you just use the tiny
dropper and put it down into the loose part of the chair. In just a
few minutes you have a tight chair. You can also use it on stair
Question: Johnnie I have a turn of the
century cast iron stove that has some rust. What can I do to get rid
of the rust and then polish the stove?
Answer: Remove the rust with Rust
Cure. Let cure completely. We have a product from Meeco called
Stove Polish. You put it on and then buff it out. It only comes in
black that I have found. They also make a glass cleaner for
fireplaces. They also make the soot remover that you just throw into
a fireplace every third fire.
