We are all so conscious of
germs, especially when there is someone sick around us and we don’t
want to get sick ourselves. Most people think of Lysol when they
think of a disinfecting a bathroom or kitchen but in all honesty
Lysol takes a very long time to kill germs- up to 4 minutes of being
wet with the disinfectant. If you are like me you assumed that
killing germs was immediate the minute you wiped the surface down and
then dried it with another towel. There is another cleaner that is
made by Zep and it does disinfect a surface much faster.
works in 5 seconds! Just spray down any hard surfaces with
Quick Clean and let air dry or wait 5 seconds and then
towel dry. It will kill the germs associated with cold and flu
viruses, staph, salmonella, and many types of germs that I can’t
pronounce. But what I like is how fast
Quick Clean takes care
of just your daily clean ups. The chicken on your counter top, germs
on a phone, toilets in the bath, handles and knobs on the door
handles that’s what going on in most of our lives and that will
take 5 seconds to completely disinfect and clean.
One of the best
tips I have seen is to take your sponge that you keep in the kitchen
and spray it down with Quick Clean thoroughly and then put it on edge
and let it air dry.
If you have kennels that you keep
your pets in
Quick Clean kills the Parvovirus in 2 minutes.
Quick Clean to work and use it in the bathrooms and
Quick Clean will clean and not have an
offensive smell that chokes you. I have always liked Zep products
because they are commercial strength but always reasonably priced.

Question: I have some leather
furniture that is old and I am giving away to a couple. I want to
clean it before they come and pick it up. Is there really any
difference in leather cleaners? Is one better than another?
Leather Only is what I
consider the best leather cleaner there is. And
has made cleaning leather very simple. Put a quarter sized portion
Leather Only on a white towel and start cleaning. Leather
will clean, protect and leaves a protective coating on the
leather. You can also use
Leather Only to clean the leather
seats in the car. Just remember when cleaning the car, don’t clean
the leather in the direct sun or when the seats are hot. The Leather
Only will dry too quickly and not leave a protective coating.
Question: I have a antique car and the
door handle broke and I want to fix it until I can find a replacement
handle through a dealer. It simply just snapped and this car is my
baby and I want to fix this right away. Any suggestions?
Answer: I would use the
Rapid Fix is a dual adhesive system that combines super glue
and a welding powder if you need it. Use the liquid adhesive to put
the 2 pieces back together again and then drop more of the liquid on
the outside of the break and then apply the powder, liquid and
powder. It will dry immediately and if you want to sand it down and
make it smooth you can.
Rapid Fix will not dry out in the
bottle and is guaranteed for 12 months.
Question: I thought you wrote about a
handle that I could put on shovels, hoes that made it easier on my
back. What was the name of the handle?
Answer: It is called
and it will keep you from having to bend as far to rake
leaves, shovel dirt. It fits on any long handled tool and will
significantly reduce the strain of bending and lifting that leads to
shoulder and back pain. You can even take
Back Saver Grip off
one tool and put it on another with just a few twists of a
screwdriver. Mount it higher on the handle and don’t bend down as
far to do your job.
